Eastern Bible Conference 2024

Greetings in the Precious Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  We are excited to be sharing information with you regarding Eastern Bible Conference 2024.  

Important EBC Dates.

• EBC is from July 27 – August 3.
• Early Registration deadline is July 5.  After July 5, the conference fee increases by 10 percent.
•  If you are registered for EBC, but do not pay the conference fee by July 5, you will be subject to the higher fee. 

EBC Online Registration, Payment, and Password.

• EBC has a new website name and address.  It is www.easternbible.org
• Registration and payment for EBC should be done on the new website.
• The password to register can be obtained from your local assembly correspondent. For security purposes, the password will be sent directly to the assembly correspondent.
• You are able to register and pay online with a credit or debit card.  Online registration and payment are the preferred methods.

Housing

• All accommodations are air conditioned, as are all the meeting and classroom locations!
• We will have available both dormitory and one-and two-bedroom apartment type housing. 
• Young people and single adults will be placed in dormitory housing and married couples, and families will be placed in apartment housing. Accommodation for large families will be made as needed, and in accordance with MU’s housing availability.
• EBC will provide linens: pillows, pillow covers, sheets, blankets, and towels (no wash/ face cloths) for all who attend. If you wish to bring your own bedding, please note all the mattresses are twin XL mattresses.  

Finances and EBC Conference Fee

• We are happy to announce that EBC 2024 rates are the same as last year! No Increase!
•  If any individual or family is so exercised and desires to attend EBC 2024, there should be nothing, including a financial need that should hinder your attendance. Speak with us privately and confidentially!
• Note.  The Family Rate, is for parents with dependent children who have a financial need. Contact Billing@easternbible.org to activate the family rate. 
• A Family Assistance Fund (FAC) has been established for family conference needs.   If you would like to contribute to the FAC, send your contribution to Eastern Bible Conference, Family Assistance Fund, C/o Mr. Kevin Quartell, 550 3-Mile Road NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505, or the US Fund for Christian Service, or the Canadian Fund for Christian Service, earmarked and written in the memo field “EBC Family Assistance Fund.”

The Lord’s Supper.

• The Lord’s Supper will follow the same pattern as previous years.

Main Bible Study Exercise.

• If the Lord lays an exercise on a brother’s heart for the conference, let us know prior to the conference by sending an outline for consideration to the EBC Secretary, Brother Chris Benson at cabenson154@gmail.com or bring it to the conference and give it to any person on the Administrative Group before the Lord’s Day afternoon meeting when we meet to choose the subject. 

Children’s Classes and Teacher Needs.

• Please continue to pray for teachers for the children's classes. An email has already been sent seeking teachers for this year.  If you are interested in teaching children or would like to find out what is involved in becoming a teacher for one of these classes, contact Brother Tom Senn at tomsenn4407@gmail.com Both brothers and sisters are needed to fill teaching positions. Consider serving the Lord as a teacher this year!

Travel Arrangements and Accommodations. 

•  We are happy to welcome saints who travel from overseas and distant parts of North America to EBC. We kindly request you look into making travel and stay arrangements on your own.  It is best to reach out to personal and assembly contacts who may assist you better than the Administrative Group since our attention is focused on preparations for the conference.

Sponsors and Background Clearances.

• We are thankful for those who sponsor young people who are not their biological / blood relative. This is helpful in bringing some young people to EBC to enjoy the conference. Remember you needa background clearance to sponsor a child (18 years and under), who is not a blood relative. If you plan to sponsor a young person, EBC uses a background clearance service and can help expedite the process. Please contact Brother Tony Taitt at at.taitt@gmail.com for assistance. 
• If you sponsor young people refer to the Conference brochure, on the website, regarding the role and responsibilities of the Sponsor and the expectations for the young people who attend EBC. Please review these expectations with them.
